Proceedings of the IQAC meeting of Sri Sai College for Women for the academic year 2014-15, held on 19th June 2014 at 12:30 p.m. in the college library.
A meeting of the IQAC was held on 19th June 2014 to discuss the following agenda:
To reconstitute the IQAC and various committees.
To discuss the activities to be undertaken to improve the quality of education.
The first meeting of IQAC for the Academic year 2014-15 was held in the college library on 19th June 2014 at 12:30p.m.The following members were present in the meeting.

At the outset the coordinator welcomed the chairman and all the members of the IQAC to the 1st meeting for the academic year 2014-15
The chairman, IQAC (principal) Prof. Ramanjaneyalu in his initial remarks thanked all the members for accepting the IQAC membership. He suggested the members to give constructive ideas which were measurable and to actively participate in the process of quality assurance. He appraised the members about AQAR requirements to be updated every year, as a pre-requisite for the next cycle of re-accreditation.
The committee decided to undertake the following activities for the academic year 2014-15, to enhance the quality of education, to maintain and to improve the standards of the institution.

Designing and implementing the annual plan of activities for quality enhancement:

To bring out the hidden talents in the students.

To enhance managerial skills and leadership qualities of the students

All round personality development of the students to be undertaken

To inculcate in the students the spirit of sportsmanship and the importance of physical fitness

To encourage the students to take up research projects
-
To instill social awareness among the students
-
To involve the parents as well as the old students for the development of the college
-
To collect and modify information on various quality parameters of higher education and best practices followed by other Institutions and to adopt such modified practices in the institution.

Strategies to develop and apply innovative practices for quality enhancement.

A workshop on teaching practices and research methodology to be conducted for all the lecturers of the college
-
To effectively implement the mentor scheme

To encourage the students to participate in spiritual activities
-
To motivate the students to participate in NSS activities
-
To conduct seminars and workshops regarding employability skills by the career and placement cell
-
To arrange for feedback from the students and to take corrective measures, if necessary.

To develop quality benchmarks and parameters of academic and administrative activities of the institution.

To conduct regular tests and examinations to assess the students

To motivate the students academically

To help them to gain confidence and the ability to meet academic challenges

To inculcate our basic beliefs and practices of harmonious student-teacher relationship, effective interaction with parents, making the placement cell more effective, introduction of modern technology in teaching.

To prepare comprehensive and precise Annual Quality Assurance Report as required from time to time.

AQAR details of the current year were discussed
-
All the members of the IQAC were requested to co-operate in preparing the AQAR report 2014-15.
The coordinator thanked the chairman and all the members for attending the meeting and the meeting came to an end.

Proceedings 2014-15
Proceedings of the IQAC meeting of Sri Sai College for Women for the academic year 2014-15 was held on 30th March 2015 at 12:30 p.m. in the college library.
A meeting of the committee constituted for IQAC was held in the college library on 30th March 2015 at 12:30 p.m. under the chairmanship of Prof. Ramanjanayalu, Principal. The following members were present in the meeting.

The IQAC co-ordinator welcomed the chairman and all the members to the meeting and gave a brief review of the previous meetings proceedings and the action taken there on.
The Principal in his initial remarks informed that the last re-accreditation was conducted in 2013-14 and the college was awarded with Grade ‘B’. The Principal further informed that the 3rd cycle re-accreditation was due in July 2019. The Principal solicited the co-operation of all the members of IQAC in this regard since IQAC has a major role in the overall department in the college.

The inauguration of the academic activities for the academic year 2014-15 was conducted on 25th June 2014, SwamiPoornapragnananda, Chinmaya Mission, Bangalore was the chief guest. It has been a tradition in our college to inaugurate the academic activities by inviting eminent spiritual leaders.

A faculty orientation program was held on 9thJuly 2014 in our institution. Dr. K. Eresi, Rtd. Professor of commerce, Bangalore University was the chief guest.
-
A career guidance program was conducted on 14thJuly 2014. Prof. Fennil of the Chartered Institute OfManagement Accounting spoke on the occasion.
-
A civil defence awareness program was organised by the NSS cell on 18th April 2014.
-
An MOU, was signed with Apeinon Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd. On 25thjuly 2014 to provide soft skills training and placement services for the final year students.
-
A talent search programme, Kalautsava-2014 was conducted on 22nd August 2014. It was inaugurated by Mr. KiranRavnidranath, famous music director, Mr. Vinayak Joshi famous cine actor and Mr. Hrudayashiva famous composer were the chief guests on the occasion.

A talk on Corporate Governance was conducted on 9th September 2014, Dr. K.s Ravichandran, a famous Company Secretary was the chief guest.
-
Inauguration of NSS activities was held on 20th September 2014, Sri Srinivas, NSS co-ordinator Bangalore University, inaugurated the program.

An intra- college Management Fest “Spectrum -2014’’ was held from 22nd -27th September 2014. Dr. K. Muniraju senior professor, Dept. Of Commerce , Bangalore University inaugurated the event. Dr. U.N. Lakshman was the guest of honour.
-
An NSS camp was held from 15th-20th December 2014, at JnanaBharathi Campus, Bangalore University.
-
Annual sports meet was conducted from 3rd-9th January 2015 to inculcate sportsmanship in the students.
-
On 12th January 2015, Youth Day was celebrated.
-
On 21st January 2015, a lecture program was organised on post graduate and entrance preparation and CMAT.
-
An inter- collegiate debate and Bhavageethe competitions was held in our college in the memory of our founder Sri. Y. Ramachandra on 7th February 2015. Dr. BasavarajuKalgudi, Prof. Dept. Of Kannada, Bangalore University was the chiefguest.
-
Students participated in various inter-collegiate programmes, and won prizes in the competitions and bought laurels to the college.
-
The college also conducted various career guidance programmes for the benefit of the students in this directions, a career week was organised by the careerguidance and placement cell.
-
On 27th March 2015, a campus recruitment drive was held in the college premises by Apeinon Consulting Services. The companies represented in the recruitment process were Amazon, first source, IBM, Aegis, Concentric and many more.

All the departments submitted the necessary information for the preparation of AQAR.

The NSS wing has conducted various camps like donation camp, free health checkup camp, free eye checkup, free dental checkup etc., in our college premises.

An intra sports event was organised by the sports committee. Students participated in all the sports events with zeal.
The meeting ended with the co-ordinator thanking the chairman and all the members for their active participation in the meeting.

On 14 July 2015 one day orientation programme was organised in association with Bangalore University teachers council of commerce and Management and India accounting council on the revised syllabus for 3rd semester B.com and BBA courses Prof. Ashwath Narayan President Bangalore University teachers council of commerce and management was the chief guest.

An awareness programme on legal services was organised on 4th August 2015

'Anveshane' a talent search program was held in our college on 8th August 2015, Shri N Ramnath, famous journalist was the chief guest and Sri.Y.V Gundu Rao, a renowned public speaker was the guest of honour

A seminar on importance of soft skills was held on 1st September 2015 in our college by IF careers.

Teachers day was celebrated on 5th September 2015 Dr. Munniraju, Chairman department of Commerce and Management Bangalore University was the chief guest

On 12th September 2015 a seminar was organised for the faculty members on the topic “The teaching and learning process” by Sri Sri Nishtathmananda Swamiji and by prof. K.S. Chandra retired principal NMKRV college for women

An inter collegiate debate and Bhavageethe competition was organised in the memory of our founder chairman Sri Y. Ramachandra on 23rd September 2015 Sri Ananya Bhargava Bedour and Sri.P.L Rao were the chief guests.

The inauguration of the academic activities for the academic year 2016-17 was conducted on 29th June 2016, by Sri Sri Sri Swami Hamsananda, Chinmaya Dhama, Hubli.

On 5th and 6th August 2016, Kalasourabha, a talents search programme was conducted, Sri Lingadevaru, a film director and National Award winner was the chief guest.
-
A special lecture was organised for the students and the staff in the college auditorium, Sri Chandrakanth Arya, member of the parliament, Ottawa, Canada was the chief guest of the programme and he delivered a lecture on the topic Education systems in India and Canada.
-
On 7th September 2016, Teacher’s day was celebrated in the college, Prof. Rahimulla Sharieff, Former Deputy Director, Dean of Collegiate Education, Government of Karnataka was the chief guest.

A faculty orientation programme was organised for the college lecturers on 1st October 2016, Dr. Satyavathi, Sanskrit Scholar, famous Carnatic Musician, former Principal of Vidhya Vardhaka College, Bangalore, delivered a lecture on the topic “Role of the teacher”.
-
An intra college Commerce and Management fest “ Spectrum” 2016 was held on 8th October 2016. It was inaugurated by Dr. Jalaja, Dept. Of Commerce, PG Centre, Kolar, Bangalore University.

The NSS wing organised a medical check up camp in the college premises on 25th October 2016, Dr. Hemamalini and her group of paramedical staff conducted the camp for the students.

An awareness programme on safety was held on 30th December 2016, in our college by the Dept. Of Police, Rajajinagar, Sri Vidyadhar D. Baikerikai, Police Inspector, was the chief guest and spoke on the occasion about the measures to. be taken to prevent crimes.
-
An NSS camp was organised for our NSS students from 18th December to 25th December 2016 at Sri Satya Sai Hospital, Whitefield, Bangalore, 23 students assisted the doctors to perform paramedical duties and social service in the hospital.

An annual inter-class sports meet was held from 9th January 2017 to 14th January 2017.

On 12th January 2017, National Youth Day was celebrated in association with Disha Foundation, Sri Pradeep Natraj from Viveka Vikasa was the chief guest and spoke on the occasion on the topic “Swami Vivekananda’s Vision- Mission”.
-
An alumni meet was organised by the alumni association in the college auditorium on 22nd January 2017.
-
On 11th Feb 2017, Dr. Jagadeesh Prakash, Vice Chancellor, Bangalore University, visited our college and addressed the students.
-
On 8th March 2017, International Women’s day was celebrated.
-
A career guidance programme was organised for the benefit of students by the career guidance and placement cell jointly in association with TATA STRIVE, a TATA Enterprise from 4th December 2016 to 11th March 2017.
-
A seminar on “The environment” was organised in association with the Lions Club on 4th April 2017, students presented papers on various issues and concerns relating to the environment, Ln. G. Srinivas, Vice District Governor, was the chief guest.
-
A visit to Vidhana Soudha was organised on 16th March, 2017 150 students have witnessed the proceedings of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly.

Sri S. Nijalingappa and Sri Y. Ramachandra Endowment lectures were organised in the institution and scholarships were distributed to meritorious and financially backward students

At the outset, the co-ordinator welcomed the Chairman and all the members of the IQAC cell to the first meeting for the academic year 2017-18.
The chairman (Principal) Prof.Ramanjaneyalu in his initial remarks thanked all the member for accepting the IQAC membership.
The committee decided to undertake the following activities for the academic year 2017-18 to enhance the quality of education, to maintain and to improve the standards of the institution.

Designing and implementing the annual plan of activities for quality enhancement.

To bring the hidden talents in the students

To enhance management skills and leadership quality of the students

All round personality development of the students to be undertaken

To indicate in the students the spirit of sportsmanship

To encourage students to take up research projects

To instil social awareness among the students.

To involve the parents as well as old students in the development of the college.

To collect and modify information on various quality parameter of higher education & best practices follows by other colleges & to adopt such modified practices by other college & to adopt such modified practices.

Strategies to develop and apply innovative practises for quality enhancement.

A workshop on teaching practices & research methodology to be conducted.

To effectively implement the mentor scheme.

All the department must submit monthly reports regarding completion of syllabus.

To encourage students to participate in spiritual activities.

To conduct seminars & workshops regarding employability skills by the career & placement cell.

Proceeding of the IQAC meeting of Sri Sai College for Women for the academic year 2017-18 held on 11th May 2018 at 12.30 pm in the college library.
A meeting of the committee constituted for IQAC was held on 11th May 2018 in the college library at 12.30 pm under the chairmanship of Prof. Ramanjaneyalu, Principal Sri Sai College For Women.
The IQAC coordinator welcomed all the members to the meeting and gave a brief review of the previous meeting proceeding and the action there on. The following members were present in the meeting.

Inauguration of the Academic activities for the academic year 2017-18 was organized on 17th June 2017, Parama Pujya Jagadguru Acharya Mahamandeleshwara Sri Sri Sri Jayendra Puri Mahaswamiji peetadhipathi of Sri Kailasa Ashrama Mahasamsthana was the chief guest. It has been a tradition in our college to inaugurate the academic activities by inviting eminent spiritual leader.

A faculty orientation program was organised for the college teachers on 1st July 2017, Dr. V. Prabhu Dev, senior Professor of finance, Christ University was the resource person who delivered a lecture on “Just not a qualified teacher but a quality teacher.”

The NSS wing in association with the Rotary club organized an free eye check up on 3rd July 2017.

On 27th July 2017, a health and hygiene program was held in the college premises. The NSS wing in association with Rotary club organized their program Rotarian H.S. Shivkumar, Rotarian Bhanuprathap were the chief guest.

“Avishkara” talents search program was conducted on 11th August 2017. Dr. M. Muniraju, Ex-vice chancellor, Bangalore University, Bengaluru was the chief guest. Dr. B. K. Ravi, Register, Bangalore university was a special invitee.

Dr. K. R. Jalaja, Asst, Professor, Department of commerce, PG center, Kolar, Bangalore University was the chief guest on the occasion of teacher’s day celebration which was held on 5th September 2017.

An intra sports meet was held from 8th December to 15th December 2017.

An orientation program for the students was held on 4th January 2018. Sri S. Pradeep, organizing secretary, Disha charitable trust spoke on the topic, “Study Tips for academic performance.”

National youth day was celebrated on 12th January 2018 in association with Disha foundation, Sri Pramod Nataraj organizing secretary was the chief guest.

To inculcate traditional values in the students, ‘Sankranthi Suggi’, was celebrated on 23rd January 2018,

A faculty orientation program was organized on 27th January 2018, Smt. Rohini Nagesha Rao, Educational Director Trainer, entrepreneur Bengaluru, delivered a lecture on the topic, “Role of Teacher’s in the 21st century are we ready.”

An NSS camp was organized for our NSS students from 18th February to 25th February 2018, at Sri Satya Sai Hospital, Whitefield, Bangalore. 30 students assisted the doctor’s to perform paramedical duties and social services in the hospital.

A one day workshop on personality development to the students was organized on 10th March 2018, Sri Yashas, Retired Group captain, Sri Sundar Anantharaman, Smt Nalini Ullal and Dr. Sri Lakshmi was the chief guest.

Career and placement call organized a program to distribute tally certificates to the students who have completed the course. On 9th May 2018, Sri S. N. Nilakantappa, Managing Director, Kayaka computer Educational Private limited was the chief guest, and distributed the tally certificates to the students.
Sri S. Nijalingappa and Sri Y. Ramachandra Endowment lectures were organized in the college.
All the departments have submitted the required information for the preparation of AQAR, and also submitted their monthly report regarding the completion of the syllabus.
The meeting ended with the Chairman thanking all the members for their active participation in the meeting.

Inauguration of the Academic activities for the academic year 2018-19 was organised on 15th June 2018, Pujya swami Aparajithananda, Acharya of Mangalore centre, Chinmaya mission was the chief guest.

The College organised the student’s council Election for the academic year 2018-19 on 30th June 2018.

On 20th July 2018, Campus recruitment was organised for the degree students by HIRE-ME, consultancy company, Bangalore.

On 3rd August 2018, talents search program was organised in the college, Sri Praveen Tej and team of the movie ‘Striker’ were the chief guest.

On 10th August 2018, annual Health checkup camp was organised in the college for the staff and students.

On 10th August 2018, an orientation program was organised for the degree students. Sri Sundar Anantharaman of Sai consultants spoke on the topic ‘Personality Development’.

On 27th August 2018, the college took part in the Anti-Drug Addict, a workshop which was conducted by the Bengaluru city police in the NIMHANS conventional centre.

On 29th August 2018, funds were voluntarily contributed by the staff and the students for the flood that occurred in kodagu and Kerala, and the amount was given to the Karnataka chief Minister Relief fund.

On 5th September 2018, Teacher’s day was celebrated. Dr. M. Muninarayanappa, Dean, Department of commerce and management, Bengaluru Central University.

On 7th September 2018, a one day workshop on career opportunities was conducted to the degree students.

On 16th October 2018, students counseling program was held and the chief guest was Dr. K. P. Puthuraya, a famous orator.

A Traffic awareness program was organised on 27th October 2018, in the college. Sri k. Narendra kumar, police inspector and Sri Shivaramaiah, Assistance sub-inspector addressed the gathering.

A faculty development program was organised on 27th October 2018 in the college. Dr. Prabhu Dev, senior academician and campus director, presidency college Bangalore was the chief guest, and he spoke on the topic, ‘Towards becoming a great teacher’.

On 17th December 2018, dental checkup camp was organized for the college students.

Distribution of tally certificates program was held on 11th January 2019, for the students of final year B.com in association with Kayak computers.

On 16th January 2019, Vivekananda Jayanthi, was celebrated as youth day, the chief guest was Sri Pramod Natraj, organising secretary, Disha charitable Trust, Bengaluru who addressed the students on the topic, ‘Swami Vivekananda’s rousing call to youth’

To inculcate traditional values in the students, ‘Sankranthi Suggi’, was celebrated on 25th January 2019, the students actively participated in the cultural programs and competitions.

From 3rd February to 10th February 2019, NSS Camp was organised at Sri Satya Sai Hospital, Whitefield Bengaluru.

A sports meet was organised for the teaching and non teaching staff of the college on 11th February 2019.
