Any Act Resulting in: Mental/Physical/Sexual Abuse, Verbal Abuse, Indecent Behaviour, Criminal Intimidation, Wrongful Restraint, Undermining Human Dignity, Financial Exploitation/Extortion, Use of Force etc.

The vision of an Anti-Ragging Committee is to cultivate a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for all students, particularly newcomers, by proactively preventing any form of ragging and promoting a culture of tolerance and support. Below is a refined vision statement that encapsulates these ideals:

• Zero Tolerance Policy: To establish and uphold a strict zero-tolerance policy against ragging, ensuring that all forms of harassment and intimidation are unequivocally condemned and addressed.

• Safe Learning Environment: To create and maintain a nurturing, safe, and inclusive environment where every student can pursue their academic and personal goals free from fear and anxiety.

• Supportive Community: To cultivate a community that encourages positive interactions, mentorship, and collaboration among students, fostering camaraderie rather than conflict.

• Prompt Response Mechanism: To develop and enforce effective mechanisms for reporting ragging incidents, ensuring that victims receive timely support and that perpetrators are held accountable.

• Collaborative Efforts: To work in partnership with institutional administration, faculty, and student organizations to promote anti-ragging initiatives and ensure comprehensive compliance with regulations.

• Regular Training and Workshops: To organize regular training sessions and workshops to sensitize students and staff about the implications of ragging and constructive ways to enhance peer relationships.
